site.btaBTA to Partner with European Spas Association during October Forum in Estonia

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) will be a partner of the European Spas Association congress that will take place in Estonia from October 7 until 10, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev reported here on Tuesday. Valchev was taking part in the 12th annual congress of the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism (BUBSPA). BTA is a media partner of the event.
BTA is committed to systematically showcasing BUBSPA's activities. Valchev referred to the forums that BTA holds every summer and winter on the eve of the respective tourist season. The idea behind the forums is to bring together representatives of the media, business, local and state authorities, and members of the academic community to discuss not general messages, but specific messages for each upcoming season. One such message that a previous forum came up with is that Bulgaria is not just a beach or ski destination but also the richest country in continental Europe in terms of mineral springs and tourism opportunities.
Valchev lauded BTA as an institution that is in partnership with 50 national information agencies of foreign countries, including with all countries in the Balkans. He added that BTA correspondents report from Bulgaria's neighbouring countries.
The head of BTA also pointed to the network of national press clubs spread across 33 regional cities. A total of 43 BTA press clubs operate across the country, which allows the agency to organize presentations of all locations that offer balneology and spa services.
Valchev's idea is to print a joint publication translated into as many languages as possible that provides comprehensive overview of all SPA and balneological hotels and resorts in Bulgaria within a year. The publication may be a separate one or an issue of LIK magazine.
