The ferry connecting Bulgaria's Oryahovo and Romania's Bechet across the Danube River has suspended operation due to the low water level and the strong wind, Border Police said on their website on Friday. Vehicles are redirected to alternative border crossings.

Another border crossing between Bulgaria and Romania, the Danube Bridge at Ruse, is still undergoing repair works. Traffic has been re-organized, with vehicles using a single lane regulated by employees of the contractor.
