site.btaGorubso Madan Wins Prize for Highest Annual Performance in Mining Industry on Miners' Day

The Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology (BCMG) presented its annual awards on Monday as part of the national celebration of Miners’ Day.

The first prize for highest annual performance in the mining industry for 2024 was awarded to Gorubso Madan, which achieved a 13.8% increase in extraction compared to the previous year.

The Innovation Award went to Kaolin for its project for an innovative approach to quartz sand processing.

The Safety and Health Award, recognizing zero workplace injuries in 2024, as certified by the National Social Security Institute, was presented to Ellatzite-Med.

The Award for Corporate Social Responsibility was given to Minstroy Holding for its initiative in support of culture, education, sports, and spirituality.

The Environmental Care Award, recognizing no violations or sanctions related to environmental regulations in 2024, as certified by the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water (RIEW), was awarded to: Assarel-Medet, Dundee Precious Metals Krumovgrad, Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech, and Kaolin.

Awards for contribution to the Bulgarian mining industry, marking anniversaries of active BCMG members, were presented to: Assarel-Medet, Ellatzite-Med, Zlatna Panega Cement, Geostroy, Geotrading, and Geoproject.
