An exceptionally successful summer season with increased visitor numbers compared to summer 2024 was reported on Tuesday by the operator of one of Bulgaria’s top mountain resorts, Pamporovo, in the Rhodope Mountains. Alexandra Tsankova, Head of Public Relations and Health Tourism at Pamporovo AD, told BTA that one of the key contributors to this success is a new attraction in the Yazovira Adventure Park: a 360-metre zipline over the Snezhanka Reservoir, which has become one of the most popular experiences among tourists.
The Yazovira Adventure Park is now one of the most favoured destinations in the resort. This year, it features archery, tubing slides, ring toss, and many more challenges for fans of active tourism. Starting next year, a climbing wall with eight different routes will also be added.
“We also organize a weekly programme of hiking tours, with special offers for new routes every Saturday,” added Tsankova.
Tourists who prefer a more relaxing holiday can opt for spa experiences and wellness therapies, health programmes with a preventative focus, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and sports activities for both children and adults.
“We always strive to offer something new and exciting so that every guest leaves with unforgettable memories,” Tsankova said.
