The Construction Production Index in Bulgaria decreased by 0.2% in June 2025 compared to the previous month, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a press release on Friday. The preliminary and seasonally adjusted data show a 4.3% increase in construction output compared to the same month in 2024.
Monthly changes
In June 2025, there was a 1.6% decrease in civil engineering construction output compared to May, while building construction increased by 0.4% and specialized construction activities rose by 0.2%.

A reference to the same month in 2024 showed a decrease on a monthly basis in specialized construction activities by 3.4% and in building construction by 0.6%, while civil engineering works saw an increase of 1.1%.
Annual changes
On an annual basis, civil engineering production increased by 5.5 per cent in June, building construction by 4.2 per cent, and specialized construction activities by 3.6 per cent, compared to the same month of the previous year.
A reference to the same month in 2024 showed an increase on an annual basis in civil engineering construction by 6,1% and in specialized construction activities by 5,4%, while building construction decreased by 1,1%.
