No less than BGN 689 million should be provided by the 2025 state budget for increasing the salaries of teachers and non-teaching staff in schools and kindergartens from January 1 2025, said chair of the Bulgarian Union of Teachers (BUT), part of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) Yanka Takeva during a discussion about the budget for school education for 2025 on Friday.
