site.btaSofia Forum to Discuss Conditions in Bulgaria for Transition to Sustainable Circular Economy
The forum "Sustainable Circular Economy - Best Practices", organized by the Bulgarian Recovery and Recycling Association (BRRA) and the Federation of the German Waste, Water and Raw Materials Management Industry (BDE), in cooperation with Sofia Municipality and the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will take place on June 7 in Sofia, the organizers said Friday.
The forum will discuss the prerequisites and conditions in Bulgaria for the transition to the so-called circular economy, the challenges for Bulgarian business to reduce waste and achieve better resource efficiency, as well as opportunities for financing these activities.
During the forum, companies from Germany will present their sustainable business models and examples of innovation in the circular economy.
The participants in the forum are expected to include the Ambassador of Germany to Bulgaria, Irene Planck, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, and Peter Kurth, President of the Federation of the German Waste, Water and Raw Materials Management Industry (BDE).
