site.btaAnnual Industrial Production Decline in Bulgaria Deepens in November 2025

Bulgaria’s industrial production index fell by 1.7% in November 2025 compared with the previous month, according to preliminary, seasonally adjusted data released on Friday by the National Statistical Institute (NSI). On an annual basis, the calendar-adjusted industrial production index decreased by 9.3% compared with November 2024.

In October, the monthly decline in industry was 2.1%, while the annual drop was 7.7%

Monthly changes 

In November compared with October 2025, a decrease was reported in the production and distribution of electricity and heat energy and gas, down 35.7%. Growth was recorded in mining and quarrying, up 23%, and in manufacturing, up 0.8%.

Annual changes

On an annual basis, the decline in industrial production, calculated from calendar-adjusted data, was reported in the production and distribution of electricity and heat energy and gas, down 43.7%, and in manufacturing, down 4.7%. An increase was registered in mining and quarrying, up 12.5%.
