BTA Is Always Turned toward Bulgarians Abroad, Says Head of Parliamentary Committee on European Affairs

The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is always turned toward Bulgarians abroad, this is its main goal, said the Chair of the parliamentary Committee on European Affairs and Oversight of the European Funds, Dimitar Gardev (There Is Such a People), here on Thursday. BTA Director General Kiril Valchev briefed the MPs about the news agency's mission and its activities on various European topics.

"Everyone interested in information knows what BTA is. The opening of BTA National Press Clubs, especially in the Balkan countries, is commendable. The great desire of all of us is for BTA to become the leading Balkan agency and to start producing content. It is very important that we raise our issues and that our point of view is heard, not the general information flow," Gardev said.
