Andrea Gotsch is the conductor for the Wiener Mozart Orchestra in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture on Saturday, organisers BGTSC said.

They described Gotsch as one of the most promising and engaging conductors on the orchestra’s roster. She debuted with the ensemble six months ago and has since attracted exclusively positive reviews. Gotsch is also the first female clarinetist of the Vienna Philharmonic and has twice appeared in the celebrated Vienna New Year’s Concert.

Among the soloists is Yasmin Ozkan, an internationally recognised coloratura soprano noted for her remarkable vocal range and stage presence. Ozkan has sung the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute at La Scala, Milan, and appeared as Benjamin in Peter Ruzicka’s Musiktheater in sieben Stationen at Heidelberg Theatre.

Baritone Sokolin Asllani, who has performed at leading houses such as Hamburg State Opera, Volksoper Vienna, Zurich Opera and Theater an der Wien, will also appear. His repertoire features roles including Don Giovanni, Figaro, Marcello and Germont.

As BTA previously announced, the programme will present works by Mozart, with the musicians dressed in baroque costume—an emblematic touch of the orchestra’s concerts.

Founded in 1986, the Wiener Mozart Orchestra performs at home in the Musikverein Golden Hall. Musicians from prestigious ensembles such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony collaborate with the orchestra, alongside soloists and conductors from renowned opera houses worldwide.
