site.btaPartnership and Security Are Key to Successful Tourist Season, Says Director of Sunny Beach AD Enilova

Partnership between all stakeholders is a key element for the development of tourism, said Sonia Enilova, CEO of Sunny Beach AD, during the BG Tourism - Summer 2025 forum organized by the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) in Pomorie. "When I talk about partnership, I mean everyone - media, business, legislature, academia and everyone who is part of the tourism chain. If a thread is broken, the product loses its quality," Enilova stressed. In her words, it is of particular importance for the tourism sector that the season passes calmly and the safety of tourists remains a top priority.
“This year we have installed new CCTV cameras and we are working in good cooperation with the police in Nessebar to prevent abuse and ensure a peaceful environment,” she added. Enilova said that from June 2, paid parking and the “blue zone” will come into force in the resort of Sunny Beach.
“We have secured enough parking spaces for tourists travelling with private cars, as the profile of the tourist is changing - charter tourists are being replaced by individual trips,” the CEO of Sunny Beach AD noted. Enilova also stressed that the company is making efforts to maintain the infrastructure - paths, green areas and disinsection in the complex, hoping for a successful summer season. It is important to pay special attention to national resorts in the Tourism Act. The Sunny Beach brand needs to be enforced through partnership and focused efforts. Tourism depends on everyone - from tour operators to local and state authorities, she added.
