The fifth edition of the Colorful Flower International Folklore Festival will take place from May 29 to June 1 in Blagoevgrad, Alexandra Kovacheva, Deputy Director of the Centre for Personal and Creative Development of Children of Blagoevgrad, told BTA on Wednesday.

Over 1,500 children from Bulgaria, the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Greece are expected to take part in it. The programme will include a performance by the Pirin Ensemble, a parade of participants through the town, as well as a concert by Bulgarian singer Iliya Lukov.
