The Festival of Contemporary Bulgarian Ceramics will open on Thursday at at Sofia's Art Hotel 158 and will continue until January 3 at the Art Hotel Gallery in Sofia, the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA) said.

The 2024 festival was first held in Oreshak between November 1 and December 9, and now moves to Sofia.

The exhibition features the following artists: Alena Nikolaeva, Dancho Yovchev, Diane Grant, Elena Videnova, Emilia Emilova, Encho Gankovski, Georgi Milenov, Gergana Dimitrova, Zahari Ivanov, Dimitar Petrov, Irina Pozharitskaya, Irina Vachkova, Iva Ivanova, Zhenya Adamova, Kosta Danev, Kristina Popova, Maria Dyankova, Maria Radoeva, Maria Valcheva, Maria Yovanovich, Marta Dimitrova, Mila Vodenicharova, Milenka Zlatinova, Nadezhda Hristova, Nargis Boyadzhieva, Neda Licheva, Nevelina Yanakieva, Rositsa Shiderova, Rositsa Trendafilova, Rozaliya Hristova, Rumyana Tsvetkova, Silvia Chaneva, Tatyana Dimitrova, Tsvetan Donkovski, Valentin Panayotov, Veselin Stoyanov, Vladimir Stoyanov, Yoanna Kemileva, Yovana Dimitrova.

The festival is organized every year by UBA's Ceramics Section and is open to all Bulgarian artists working in the field of ceramics, as well as to foreign participants. Artists from North Korea, Romania, and Italy participated in the last couple of editions of the event, the organizers said.

The Festival of Contemporary Bulgarian Ceramics is being held for the seventh consecutive year. This is the first year that the festival has been held in more than one location.
