Bulgarian tennis talent Ivan Ivanov became Friday the second representative of the country to qualify for the final of the men's Wimbledon Juniors Championships after Grigor Dimitrov won the competition in 2008. The 16-years-old secured a hard-fought 7-6(7) 7-6(5) win over German Max Schoenhaus, who defeated him in the Roland Garros semifinals earlier in the year.

Ivanov reached the match for the title without losing a single set.

The possibility of a historic all-Bulgarian final remains as Alexander Vasilev will meet American Ronit Karki in the second semifinal.

Both Ivanov and Vasilev are part of top 10 of the World Tennis Tour Junior Rankings - Ivanov is sixth while Vasilev stands at No. 10. Before the start of the tournament, Ivanov was named as one of the favourites to win the title by the official International Tennis Federation website.
