site.btaAmerican University in Bulgaria Hosts Exhibition Commemorating Anniversary of War in Ukraine

Ukrainian students from the American University in Blagoevgrad (AUGB), Southwestern Bulgaria, organized an exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the war in Ukraine. The event entitled "Unissued Diplomas" will open on Monday, at the America for Bulgaria Student Centre in Blagoevgrad. 

The exhibition was put together by Ukrainian students and their compatriots from over 45 different universities around the world, including Canada, Germany, Poland, Finland, etc. and tells the stories of students who died in the war, as well as those who are currently defending their country's independence, said AUBG in a press release.

The aim of the exhibition is to remind the world of the ongoing war and the price Ukrainians pay daily in their fight for freedom. Unissued Diplomas honours the memory of Ukrainian students who will never graduate because their lives were taken by the Russian invasion. This is the second edition of the exhibition, which was first organized last year on the occasion of the anniversary of the war, the organizers said.
