site.btaBDZ Organizes Train Trip with Steam Locomotive between Sofia and Koprivshtitsa

Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) are organizing a special train trip with a steam locomotive on Saturday, June 3, on the route Sofia - Koprivshtitsa - Sofia. 

The steam locomotive will depart from Sofia Central Railway Station at 09:00 am and will arrive at Koprivshtitsa station at 11:57, after making short stops at some picturesque train stations in the Balkan Mountains.

After arriving at Koprivshtitsa, bus transport will be provided for passengers from the train station to the town. During the journey, there will be additional pleasant surprises for all those present in the specially organised train on the occasion of BDZ's 135th anniversary. The train will leave the Koprivshtitsa train station at 16:40, and is scheduled to be back in Sofia at 19:26. 

The ticket price for the round trip Sofia - Koprivshtitsa - Sofia is BGN 76, and will include a reserved seat. The tickets for children up to 10 are half price. 

Tickets for this train can be purchased from ticket offices and railway bureaus at all stations in the country. Quantities are limited.
