site.btaNew Stamp Validated on Occasion of 120th Anniversary of Port of Burgas
A new postage stamp on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the founding of the port of Burgas was officially presented and validated in Burgas as part of the events organized on the occasion of the anniversary. The stamp, designed by Georgi Yankov, was printed in an edition of ten thousand pieces. Its face value is BGN 0.75.
On the occasion of the anniversary two exhibitions were opened. One is an indoor exhibition called "Historical moments of the port of Burgas through the eyes of artists", containing paintings from the collection of the Port of Burgas. The other is an outdoor exhibition with pictures of the breakwater, showing the development of the port over the years.
