The police in Pazardzhik received 34 reports of election violations on Sunday, according to police reports. Twelve of them are related to a case in the village of Ognyanovo, Pazardzhik, while 16 reports concern suspected vote buying in the regional town and several villages in the municipality - Saraya, Bratanitsa, Mokrishte, Malo Konare, Dragor, and Glavinitsa.

In most cases, the complainants did not mention specific names or political parties. Eight of the reports were for election violations and 10 were for illegal campaigning. In each case where there is evidence of crimes against citizens' electoral rights, a file is opened and reported to the Pazardzhik District Prosecution Office, the police added.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) won the municipal council elections in Pazardzhik, according to the municipal election commission, with 100% of the ballots from Sunday's election day counted.
