The lowest temperatures in Bulgaria in October 2025 will be between minus 3C and 2C. The highs will range between 25C and 30C, Krasimir Stove of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told BTA.

The average monthly temperature in Bulgaria will be around the month’s norm, which is between 11C and 15C or between 0C and 7C in the mountains.

The amount of precipitation will be around the usual levels, which for October are between 40 and 70 litres per square metre or between 50 and 100 litres per square metre in the southeast.

The first 10-day period of the month will see temperatures close to the norm or lower. The weather will be mostly cloudy. Rain is likely between October 2 and 5 as well as at the end of the period.

Temperatures will be relatively higher and closer to the norm in the rest of the month. Lows will drop to below 0, and frost will form. Mostly sunny weather with fog likely to come down in valleys in the morning. Light rain and lower temperatures likely around October 15, 20 and the end of the month.
