The National Assembly's agenda for Friday's plenary session includes a discussion of the 2024 Annual Report on the Activities of the Commission for Protection against Discrimination (CPD).
In 2024, the CPD issued 370 decisions, 252 of which came into force and 250 of which were not appealed by the parties. The report also presents the CPD's practice in various cases. In 2024, the CPD received funds from fines and penalties amounting to BGN 11,000.
Scheduled to participate in parliamentary control at 11:00 a.m. are Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov, Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh, Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova, Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov, Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov, and Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov.
Lack of quorum thwarted Parliament's sittings on Wednesday and Thursday.
