site.btaLack of Quorum Halts National Assembly's Sitting for Second Day in a Row

Parliament Chair Nataliya Kiselova closed Thursday's sitting after two quorum checks showed not enough MPs were registered in the plenary hall. This was the second day in a row when Parliament failed to launch its sitting.
Kiselova said: "It is clear that there is a quorum in the plenary hall, but since my colleagues are not registering, I think it is time to say 'See you tomorrow [on Friday] at 9:00 a.m.'"
At the start of the day, 104 MPs registered in the plenary. A quarter of an hour later, they still failed to reach the necessary number of 121, i.e. 50% plus one MP.
