Servicemen from the Bulgarian Armed Forces are helping to extinguish a fire that broke out in the area of the town of Bulgarovo, on the Black Sea, the press center of the Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday.

A crew from the 24th Air Base in Krumovo took off in a Cougar helicopter to assist the teams of the Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate General in extinguishing the fire that broke out in the villa zone of Bulgarovo, the statement said. 

On the orders of the Chief of Defense, Admiral Emil Efimov, military personnel from the Burgas Naval Base and teams from the Logistics Support Command will also assist firefighters in extinguishing the fire by providing water trucks and water tanks.
