The Executive Director of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad , Rayna Mandzhukova, and Deputy Director Yoanna Dragneva welcomed representatives of the newly established association of Jordanians who graduated from Bulgarian universities – Mr. Ali Al Fayez, Dr. Haidar Ali, and Mr. Nabil Al Bakri. The delegation was accompanied by Dimitar Mihaylov, adviser to Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev and Ambassador-at-Large, the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad said on its Facebook page.

During the meeting, the association’s initiatives were discussed and joint opportunities for long-term cooperation were identified.

“The association of Jordanians who graduated in Bulgaria has once again shown its support and affection for Bulgaria! We are happy to share that, thanks to their generosity and dedication, our Bulgarian Sunday School has received valuable assistance, enabling us to continue our mission – to keep the Bulgarian language, traditions, and culture alive among our children in Jordan,” the Bulgarian Sunday School “Sts. Cyril and Methodius” in Jordan wrote on its Facebook page.

“This bond between Bulgaria and Jordan is more than friendship – it is a bridge of knowledge, memories, and affection that connects people and makes them one big family. We thank all members of the association for their support and inspiration!” the school added, noting: “Together, we are building a future in which Bulgarian roots will continue to bear fruit.”
