Second Amendments to Agreement on Funding under Recovery and Resilience Facility Gets Cabinet's Approval

The Council of Ministers approved the Second Amendment to the Financing Agreement under the Recovery and Resilience Facility between the European Commission and Bulgaria, signed on July 4, 2022, the government press office said on Wednesday. The Cabinet also authorized the Minister of Finance to conduct negotiations and the Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to the European Union to sign it on behalf of the government, subject to subsequent ratification.

The results expected to be achieved with the adoption of the proposed act of the Council of Ministers are the assumption of a legal obligation to provide the Republic of Bulgaria with additional financial resources in the amount of EUR 485,327,545.
