There Is Such a People (TISP) Floor Leader Toshko Yordanov told Bulgarian National TV here on Sunday evening that the appearance of new people and new parties in elections should not be a problem for anyone. He noted that political life is not static, which he considers a positive thing, and added that the key question is who will participate with which team and who has more enthusiasm than resources.

"Everyone can participate in political life," Yordanov said. "On the other hand, when you have been elected president and have sworn an oath, you have not sworn to use the presidential institution as a springboard for a political career. President Radev was one of those who said the parliament should resign, and if he said it as a President from the sidelines, that is one thing, but if he said it as someone who wanted to trigger elections to run himself, that is another," he added, commenting a question about about a possible political project of President Rumen Radev.

Regarding the topic of the caretaker prime minister, Yordanov described the pool of possible candidates for the post of caretaker prime minister as an “absolute nonsense,” saying that without it, there would have been no hypothesizing what would happen if everyone listed in it declined to serve as caretaker prime minister. "This was done by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), who claim to be legal experts and want to implement reforms,” he said.

Yordanov also explained that the human factor is what undermines elections, and that using scanning machines eliminates this factor, as people no longer count the ballots. Additionally, invalid ballots will be avoided, because if a ballot is filled out incorrectly, the machine automatically rejects it, allowing voters to complete a new one. "Elections are won through political debates, not machines. With these machines, we will convince the public that the result is exactly what it should be," Yordanov concluded.
