President Rumen Radev said that if the Counter-Corruption Commission continues operating, its functions and composition must be fundamentally changed. "In my opinion, this Commission should not exist in its current form," said President Rumen Radev at a briefing in Plovdiv on Sunday.
“The people who created it did so with the hope that it would be used as a parallel prosecution service. However, this parallel prosecution service is currently being used by others and has turned against them. This Commission cannot be used as a weapon in the hands of those behind the scenes,” said Radev.
