About 2,000 foreign students study at the Medical University of Varna, the university told BTA. The largest group among them, nearly 1,000, are from Germany.

Students from other EU countries, including Spain and Italy, are also interested in the medical school. Young people from the UK and Scandinavian countries also prefer to study in Varna.

Students from a total of 50 foreign countries study medicine at the university in Varna, including young people from Nigeria, South Africa, USA, Canada, Brazil, Bolivia, Sri Lanka, Japan, and South Korea, the university added.
