site.btaOver BGN 40 Mln Made Available for Non-Resident Teachers and Vocational Training

At its meeting on Tuesday, the government approved BGN 41,196,438 for transport and rent reimbursement for non-resident teachers, as well as for support of vocational training classes that are important for the national economy.

BGN 20,268,648 will be transferred through the municipal budgets for the transportation costs of 17,900 pedagogical specialists from 2,900 kindergartens and schools.

BGN 92,082 will be used to reimburse the rental costs of teachers who work in a settlement outside their place of residence.

261 municipal schools will receive BGN 20,835,708 to support classes for acquiring qualifications in protected professional fields and those for which a shortage of specialists is expected on the labour market. 17,604 students are educated in such classes.
