site.btaSofia Hosts Vintage Cars Exhibition on Saturday

Classic vintage cars were displayed at an exhibition in downtown Sofia organized by the Bulgarian Auto-moto Club Retro in cooperation with Sofia Municipality on Saturday. This was the 35th such forum in Bulgaria with the first one dating back to 1913.
Georgi Georgiev, Chair of the Bulgarian Auto-moto Club Retro, said that all vehicles on display have been driven carefully and safely, which was the key to having them preserved to this day.
Inter Classic Cars owner Georgi Stoilov shared that he has 15 vintage cars, the oldest of which is a 1927 Ford Model T. He compared collecting vintage cars to a severe disease that only gets worse as time goes on. He added: "To me, they are history and art. They show the technological development of mankind."
Collector Zvezdelin Grozdanov who took part in the event with two cars, Alfa Romeo GTV Bertone and GTV 6, said that maintaining such cars requires a lot of dedication and love. He added: "I must have been born with petrol in my blood, because I really like old cars."
