Viktor Stoyanov, top-of-the-list candidate of the Anti-Corruption Bloc in the 19th multi-member constituency in Ruse, outlined proposals to improve transport infrastructure in the region in a statement to the media.

He identified the curve near Polsko Kosovo as dangerous, suggesting either a new section of road west of the area or a direct new route towards Byala near the railway station. Additional proposals include an overpass and roundabout near Byala's railway station and industrial zone to ease traffic and improve capacity.

Stoyanov also proposed building a bridge over the Yantra River towards the village of Starmen, local service lanes and cycling paths along the fast connection between the two parts of Byala, and an overpass near the Belenski Bridge roundabout to relieve congestion.

Among railway measures, he suggested a new Levski-Byala line to cut travel time on the Sofia-Ruse route by about an hour, along with upgrades to the Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo line and safer crossings in Volovo.

"The cause is Bulgaria," the candidate said.
