Delyan Peevski, leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning, said that "together we can and will uphold statehood, prosperity and the security of the people" in an Easter message, the party's press office said on Sunday.

"Easter is the brightest Christian holiday, when faith and hope triumph, and the Resurrection of Christ symbolizes the victory of good over evil," Peevski said.

He wished citizens health, wellbeing and strength to overcome current challenges, expressing hope that the Resurrection would bring peace, hope and a better future to Bulgarian families.
