Patriarch Daniil called on believers to "draw with full hands from the grace of the Resurrection" in his sermon during the Second Resurrection service at St Nedelya Cathedral in Sofia on Sunday.

He said the joy of Christ's Resurrection continues to this day and recalled how Jesus appeared to His disciples, strengthening their faith and granting them peace through the Holy Spirit. This transformed them into witnesses of a new life founded on faith and grace.

The Patriarch also referred to the doubt of the Apostle Thomas, describing how faith ultimately replaced uncertainty when Christ appeared again and brought inner peace.

Daniil urged believers to embrace this grace through repentance, faith and love, encouraging harmony in families, sincerity in relationships and devotion in daily life.

"With faith in the Risen Christ, people become partakers in this blessed life," he said, adding that the joy of faith is eternal and surpasses all worldly riches.
