Vanya Vasileva MP has submitted a request to leave the Democracy, Rights and Freedoms parliamentary group, Deputy Parliament Chair Tsoncho Ganev announced during Friday's parliamentary sitting.

In accordance with the National Assembly rules, deputy chairpersons and members of standing committees shall be released early upon termination of their membership of the parliamentary group from whose quota they were elected, which is why Vasileva was dismissed as a member and deputy chair of the Committee on Labour and Social Policy and as a member of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs.
