The traditional Rozober rose picking rituals near Kazanlak will begin on May 24 and they will be held every Saturday and Sunday in different massifs in the Valley of Roses, the municipal press centre said.

The events will be hosted by the rose massifs in the villages of Kanchevo, Cherganovo, Rozovo, Ovoshtnik and Yasenovo, where all attendees will be able to experience the custom of traditional rose picking. In the rose fields, guests will also witness the process of rose brewing, the Municipality noted.

The Kazanlak Municipality is organizing special transportation to all rose gardens, with buses departing at 9:00 in the morning from the bus stop at the Arsenal House of Culture. Bus tickets can be purchased on site.

The rituals are part of the programme of the Rose Festival, the culmination of which will be on June 6, 7 and 8 in Kazanlak.
