At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding on sports cooperation between Bulgaria’s Youth and Sports Ministry and Hungary’s Defence Ministry, authorizing the Youth and Sports Minister to negotiate and sign the document.
Under Section 2 of the Memorandum, the cooperation will cover the exchange of visits and practices among coaches, experts, and researchers in various areas, including sports for all, sports for students, sports for people with disabilities, sports science, sports medicine, especially rehabilitation practices, sports law, integrity in sport, and anti-doping efforts. The Memorandum also outlines the exchange of experience in sports infrastructure investment and the promotion of various forms of sports cooperation, including joint participation in sports programmes and projects, particularly in swimming, canoeing and handball.
