The Constitutional Court has instituted a case petitioned by 67 MPs of the 50th National Assembly contesting the legality of the election of MPs in 52 voting sections in the October 27 parliamentary elections, the Court said on its website on Friday.

Judge Yanaki Stoilov is the rapporteur on the case.

Parliamentary forces of the 51st National Assembly have called for full or partial election annulment.

Toshko Yordanov, Floor Leader of There Is Such a People (TISP), told a news conference earlier in the day that the TISP parliamentary group in the 50th National Assembly has collected 67 signatures and will petition the Constitutional Court for partial annulment of the October 27 elections.

Yordanov added that they had received support from MPs of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, the Alliance for Rights and Freedom and some of the MPs of the former parliamentary group of Velichie.

TISP MP Aleksandar Rashev said they would seek annulment for 52 voting sections in Bulgaria and would submit evidence of violations, including rigged vote counts, transfer of votes from one party to another, and lack of the mandatory video surveillance of the vote count.
