Conferring with France's Minister for Economy, Finance, Industry and Digital Security Bruno Le Maire, Bulgarian Finance Minister Assen Vassilev was told that France strongly supports Bulgaria's accession to the euro area as of January 1, 2025, the Bulgarian Finance Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday. The meeting between Vassilev and Le Maire was attended by Bulgarian Energy Minister Rumen Radev.
