A bill to amend and supplement the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria got 161 votes in favour, 67.1% of the possible 240 votes possible, and 57 against. There were no abstentions. After the vote, National Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov announced that the motion did not garner the necessary 75% to pass
