Employed, unemployed and economically inactive people will be able to receive training vouchers for the acquisition of first, second and third level vocational qualifications, digital and other key competences, the Council of Ministers said in a decree, approved by the government on Wednesday.
The document defines the terms and conditions for the provision of training vouchers under the Human Resources Development Programme (HRDP) 2021-2027, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Just Transition Fund (JTF).
For the first time, trainings will be funded for basic, intermediate, advanced and highly specialized levels of digital competency.
The training vouchers will be provided by the National Employment Agency (NEA) to unemployed, inactive and employed people who are members of the target groups of the HRDP, the NRRP and the JTF. They will be able to apply via the NEA's electronic platform.
People who have received vouchers will have the right to choose the type and provider of training. The value of the vouchers depends on the type and duration of the courses.
