Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov participated in the discussion “Justice through High-Level Dialogue”, organized by the General Secretariat of the NADAL Network, the prosecution service said in a press release on Tuesday.

The online meeting focused on harmonizing the enforcement of European Union law across member states, strengthening cross-border cooperation, and improving teamwork among national prosecution services, including support for institutions such as Eurojust and the European Judicial Training Network.

During the meeting, specific projects for magistrate training were discussed, as well as the possibility of cooperation with the Siracusa International Institute of Criminal Justice and Human Rights.

The NADAL network aims to create a direct link between the heads of prosecution offices across EU Member States, providing a platform for dialogue on key issues concerning criminal law cooperation and the effective implementation of EU law. The network is named in honour of former French Prosecutor General Jean-Louis Nadal, who initiated its founding in Vienna in 2008.
