Bozhidar Bozhanov, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Deputy Floor Leader and Co-Chair of Yes, Bulgaria, which is part of CC-DB, Tuesday said that President Rumen Radev was "apparently stepping onto the party political terrain, leaving behind the comfort of the presidency, where he was able to choose which issues to take a position on and which to avoid." Bozhanov spoke to the media in connection with the resignation that President Rumen Radev tendered to the Constitutional Court earlier in the day. The CC-DB Deputy Floor Leader noted that Radev had been able to avoid making "the difficult compromises the rest of us have long had to make."
"We have very clear positions on two priorities: the rule of law and the dismantling of the corruption model, as well as ensuring that Bulgaria is strong within a united Europe. These are our guiding principles, and this is what we tell our voters," Bozhanov added.
