Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova participated in the regular monthly meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which took place in Brussels on Monday. The forum discussed the current situation in Ukraine, domestic political dynamics in Tunisia and developments regarding Iran. Bulgaria contributes to these efforts on the basis of its long-standing relations with countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Petrova praised the progress made in the implementation of the Strategic Compass over the past year. She placed special emphasis on the need to strengthen the EU's toolbox to fight cyber and hybrid threats and disinformation.
