site.btaBulgarian Diplomats Visit National Children's Library in Kyiv
The National Children's Library of Ukraine in Kyiv was visited by the Charge d'Affaires of the Bulgarian Embassy Teodor Savov and the Bulgarian Military Attache there - Lieutenant Colonel Yonko Kapitanov, the Embassy wrote on its website on Monday.
The diplomats were accompanied by representatives of the Bulgarian community in Kyiv: writer Sergei Petkov and the chairman of the Bulgarian Society "Rodolyubie" Sergei Deordiev.
During the visit, more than 30 books were handed over to the library management, including modern children's editions in Bulgarian, historical books in Ukrainian, audio books, etc.
"The representatives of the Bulgarian Embassy in Ukraine assured the library workers that Bulgaria and its citizens are on the side of Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and independence," the website of the Bulgarian diplomatic mission states.
Partnership guidelines were outlined to promote cultural and historical cooperation and to introduce the young readers of the library to Bulgarian traditions and literature.
