President Iliana Iotova opened a two-day national conference entitled "Healthcare in the 21st century: Modern aspects and challenges" here on Friday. The forum, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Health Professionals in Nursing, features participants from Bulgaria and other Balkan countries.
In her key remarks, the President said: "Healthcare in the 21st century is not just about statistics, new forms, and protocols; it is the art of combining the precision of technology with the warmth of the human touch." She noted that while developments in medical technologies are important, it is healthcare experts that are in the core of the process.
