site.btaHealth Minister Orders Probe After Newborn's Death in Sofia Hospital
Caretaker Health Minister Michail Okoliyski has ordered an inspection at Sofia’s St Anna hospital following the death of a newborn, the press centre of the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
Inspectors from the Regional Health Inspectorate in Sofia and the Executive Agency Medical Supervision will try to establish all the facts and circumstances, the ministry said.
They added that, according to preliminary information provided by the medical institution, the baby had a severe congenital condition.
