“Our positions are clear; Rumen Radev is yet to state his,” Nadejda Iordanova, Co-Floor Leader of Continue the Change–Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), told the media in the Parliament on Monday, commenting on the resignation of the head of State and in response to a question about whether CC-DB sees common ground with him or rather red lines.

According to her, anyone who wishes to engage in dialogue with them must first position themselves along two benchmarks - against the Borissov-Peevski model [named after GERB-UDF Floor Leader Boyko Borissov and MRF-New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski] and in favor of a pro-European Bulgaria.

Iordanova stressed that Rumen Radev’s entry into the party arena in no way changes the priorities of the Continue the Change–Democratic Bulgaria coalition.

“We are and continue to be a political force working to dismantle the Borissov-Peevski model, the captured state, and at the same time we stand for a strong Bulgaria, in a strong Europe, fully committed to a strongly pro-European path,” she added.

Shortly before, President Rumen Radev announced that he will submit his resignation on Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, Ivaylo Mirchev of Yes, Bulgaria echoed Iordanova's position that any dialogue will be guided by two key benchmarks: against the Peevski–Borisov model and firmly with Europe.
