The Central Election Commission (CEC) has removed four parties from the composition of the BSP – United Left coalition, which was registered to participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 27, 2024, the CEC announced on Tuesday.

The parties removed from the coalition are Bulgarian Spring, Movement 21, Rise Up Bulgaria, and the Social Democrats Political Movement.

The CEC’s decision follows a submitted application for changes to the composition of BSP – United Left, prompted by written requests from the four parties to terminate their participation in the coalition.

The decision may be appealed before the Supreme Administrative Court through the Central Election Commission within three days of its announcement, the CEC said.
