site.btaPresident Says What Happened with State Budget Is Mystery for People Outside Parliament
During consultations with MECh here on Thursday, ahead of the procedure to hand out mandates for forming a new government, President Rumen Radev said that for the people outside parliament what happened with the state budget is a mystery. He asked MECh to explain what happened with the budget on Wednesday, since the events from that day are "difficult to explain with the tools of logic and ideology".
Radev asked MECh whether they see a scenario where the 51st National Assembly continues to operate in a different governing configuration. He noted that important tasks lie ahead for Parliament. He suggested the working atmosphere in Parliament seems to be deteriorating with each passing day.
MECh stated that February is not a good choice to set a date for early election. Radev said that he understood the arguments behind this statement and agreed with it.
