Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev held a farewell meeting with Polish Ambassador to Bulgaria Maciej Szymanski, thanking him for his six years of work in strengthening Bulgarian-Polish relations.

The two officials praised the growing bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including security, defense, and energy, and emphasized the importance of EU and NATO unity in addressing common challenges. Ambassador Szymanski also congratulated Bulgaria on its recent accession to the Schengen Area and the eurozone.

In October, the Polish Ambassador opened a photography exhibition at the Polish Cultural Institute in Sofia, showcasing Bulgaria’s natural beauty and reflecting his encounters with local authorities and nature enthusiasts across the country.
