The Durankulak checkpoint on the border with Romania closes for vehicles over 3.5 t during repairs, the Border Police said Monday. The repairs are underway on international road I-9 in Romania, which is adjacent to the border crossing.

The ban on trucks is valid from March 25 until March 27.

The truck traffic across the Bulgaria-Romania border is intense via the crossings of Vidin, Kadram and Oryahovo.
